Maid Bright Gives Back

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, Maid Bright proudly catered its 11th Annual Hypothermia Shelter Meal at the Embry Rucker Shelter in Reston, Virginia‎. This annual event supports the Hypothermia Prevention Program, operated by Fairfax County and Cornerstones, which provides warm shelter, nourishing meals, and vital supportive services during the winter months‎.

The program helps connect guests to essential resources such as clothing, employment assistance, housing support, and more‎. Over the years, this meal has become a meaningful tradition for Maid Bright, It gave us a chance to give back to the community and support individuals seeking shelter from December through March‎.

While flu-related restrictions prevented us from serving and dining alongside shelter residents this year, we were still honored to provide a warm, home-cooked meal‎. We look forward to future opportunities to once again share food, conversation, and connection with members of our community‎.
